We currently have a full-time opportunity available for a Patient Services Representative in our Lakewood, NJ office!
Greet and check in patients in a friendly manner.
Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Prepare new patient charts neatly and accurately.
Various office duties as assigned by Office Manager.
Responding to patient billing or financial inquiries, directing to appropriate departments, as necessary.
Collect and post payments and record receipts.
Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing.
Maintain an open line of communication with other Dental Assistants, EFDAs, Hygienist, Front Desk, Office Supervisors and/or Office Manager, Practice Manager, and Dentists regarding issues important to meeting the needs of patients
High School Diploma generally required
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Front Desk of a practice (preferably dental) experience of one year preffered
Cleared through the State of NJ to work with children: determined through Criminal Background Check, Finger Printing, and Child Abuse Clearance
