Responsibilities

CDHA Management currently has a full-time opportunity available for a Credentialing Coordinator at our new West Chester corporate location!

 

 

Credentialing Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Ensure all applications for credentialing are sent to prospective members of each facility
  • Complete all checklists and checks per required checklist to ensure completion of file
  • Monthly, run reports to ensure credentialing elements that are coming to expiration are renewed and received in all applicable files
  • Credential all new offices with Department of Public Welfare and all insurance companies at minimum 3 months prior to a new office opening (this is dependent upon receiving practice/location information)
  • Coordinate new office opening with New Business Assistant and Marketing Manager
  • Follow-up on all credentialing applications submitted to all insurance companies- keep track of all email correspondence and phone conversations had
  • Maintain an active list of all insurance companies
  • Ensure all requests for specialty contracts are submitted and that all providers are connected to the proper fee schedule for the dental offices completing credentialing for
  • Ensure proper time management of all tasks
  • Complete all re-credentialing requests when submitted and maintain submittal information
  • Review all dental insurance websites for complete and accurate information. Email insurances that have incorrect information so information is corrected
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents
  • Implement and maintain office systems
  • Handle incoming mail and other material
  • Set up and maintain filing systems
  • Collate information
  • Maintain databases
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information
  • Liaison with internal and external contacts
  • Coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally
  • Operate office equipment
  • Manage office space
  • Understand and prioritize customer requirements.
  • Know and adhere to all policies and procedures of each facility entered.
  • Ensure facility's needs are handled expeditiously

 

Qualifications

  • At least one year of credentialing experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications - spreadsheets, word processing, and database management
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize customer requirements
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures 
  • Knowledge of business principles
  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
  • Proven experience of producing correspondence and documents
  • Proven experience in information and communication management
